SACHS
SACHS Special Tools
Under the SACHS product brand, ZF Aftermarket offers an extensive range of high-quality special testing tools for automotive workshops – e.g., clutch tools (like the clutch centering pin), innovative inspection equipment and many other special tools that make servicing noticeably easier. As part of its clutch tool range, SACHS also offers a clutch tool kit for passenger cars and light commercial vehicles. To center a truck's clutch, simply use SACHS tools to center the clutch specifically designed for commercial vehicles.
SACHS special tools for cars all come with extensive operating instructions. In addition, ZF Aftermarket's popular technical trainings use the appropriate SACHS tools for each training topic.
In case of defective or worn DMFs we recommend the SACHS testing tool to check the dual-mass flywheel: The DMF testing tool for passenger cars and light commercial vehicles enables easy and reliable dual-mass flywheel diagnosis and inspections of DMFs in installed or disassembled condition.
Among other things, the SACHS DMF testing tool for dual-mass flywheels checks the free travel of the torsional damper, the evenness of its spring force, the axial bearing conditions as well as the displacement travel of the radial bearing point.
Please note that this special tool for dual-mass flywheel tests and dual-mass flywheel diagnosis was designed specifically for DMFs by the SACHS product brand. Dual-mass flywheels by other brands require other DMF tools and can therefore not be checked using this one. The same applies for dual-mass flywheels with a transfer plate as well as those for dual clutch transmissions. These too cannot be checked with this tool due to their design.
The part number of the DMF inspection tool is 4200 080 563. For further information, please consult our online product catalog. Enter the part number in the search box at the bottom edge of the browser.

Test the clutch disk for possible lateral run-out prior to assembly with the SACHS lateral run-out tester. SACHS offers two different testers: The tester for passenger cars and light commercial vehicles is suitable for clutch disks with an outside diameter of up to 240 mm, disks over 240 mm require the lateral run-out tester for trucks. Testing for lateral run-out is an essential requirement when installing a new clutch, as this is the only way to guarantee that the clutch disk will still function after assembly in the vehicle. The maximum permissible deviation of 0.5 mm must not be exceeded. The tool kit contains all the parts required for this test.
The part number for the lateral run-out tester for passenger cars is 4200 080 560, the number for trucks is 4200 080 580. For further information, please consult our online product catalog. Enter the part number in the search box at the bottom edge of the browser.

The clutch tool kit is ideal for disassembling and installing XTend and conventional clutches as well as for centering clutch disks.
The clutch tool kit prevents not only unwanted adjustment of the XTend clutch but also housing distortion of conventional clutches during assembly. The clutch centering tool is ideal for centering the clutch disk, also in engines without a pilot bearing in the crankshaft or with larger crankshaft bore diameters than the clutch disk hub diameter. The two clamping/centering elements guarantee precise centering in the clutch disk with one clamping element, and precise centering in the pilot bearing or crankshaft bore with the other.
The part number for the clutch assembly tool kit is 4200 080 561. For further information, please consult our online product catalog. Enter the part number in the search box at the bottom edge of the browser.

TRW
Brake fluid bleeder
Everything we make is designed to be not just the best quality option available but also the easiest to use. That’s why the TRW Aftermarket Brake Bleeder makes the draining and filling of brake fluid a safe, rapid process without fuss or mess.
The two models both provide a range of key advantages, from a single simple device:
- Effortless mess-free draining, every time
- Works with alternative adapters in conjunction with the TRW Adapter Kit
- Euro Adapter included in the box
- Two Electric Brake Bleeding designs in 20-liter and 5-liter capacity
- Options for both ABS and Hydro-electric brake technology
Electric effort and effortless brake bleeding
We’ve developed two Electric Brake Bleeding Units with different capacities: the 20-liter Brake Bleeder and 5-liter Brake Bleeder. Naturally, they both perform seamlessly and transform this messy, routine work into a quick and precise safety task. Neither of these reliable units uses compressed air, and they both have an automatic ‘stop’ function that activates when the container is empty, which contributes to operational life and reliability.
A wheeled and easily portable design, the 230 volt electric, 20-liter Brake Bleeder [Part Number: YCB351] allows you to achieve quick set up and easy access to the vehicle. This is further enhanced by the 3.5 meter service hose which works under 0 – 4 bar pressure. The 20-liter Brake Bleeder is designed to work with either ABS or Hydro-electric brake systems, so you can serve a greater number of vehicles.
Weighing just 6 kg, the 5-liter Brake Bleeder [Part Number:YCB350] is portable enough to use around your workshop wherever it’s needed. Despite this convenient compactness, this 230 volt model still provides good capacity and the features that count, such as a 3.5 meter hose that works under 0 – 4 bar pressure. Like the 20-liter Brake Bleeder, this versatile design works with ABS and Hydro-electric braking technology.
To minimize delays and complications, we also include the Euro Adapter. Now you can get straight down to work wherever you are. The full range of Adapters, covering all territories, is available in the ultra-versatile Adapter Kit [Part Number: YCB352].
Our objective in making the fitting process as seamless and straightforward as it can be is clear: to help you get the maximum from your TRW Brake Fluid Bleeder with minimal time wasted, and in total safety.
